Possible career option

So as you know Brad and I spend a lot of time with my twin sisters, Haley and Riley. Haley has been obsessed with Bolt ever since I took the two of them to the movies to see it back in January. Haley has also become obsessed with looking like and acting like Penny, who she refers to as "Bolt's human" haha. So the latest thing was that she wanted to cut her hair short like Penny's. Yesterday she asked Mom to cut it, she said no. Then she asked Granny, "Hey, let me ask you a question. Would you do me a favor?" to which Granny replied "Sure, if I can." And Haley leans in and whispers, "Would you cut my hair really short and not tell Mommy?" And obviously Granny's answer was "no". Oh Haley, can't blame a girl for tryin! So today Mom decided she would take her to get her hair cut, I went with them because I am more assertive than Mom, surprise surprise :)...When we got there Haley didn't like the lady who was going to cut her hair so she decided I was the woman for the job...an hour later this is what it turned out looking like...

Not to shabby hunh?

It's almost time to graduate when...

- You have an exam and quiz tomorrow, you haven't even began studying for either and its now 6:15 PM
- You have an exact number of "class days" left before exams begin (by the way that number is now 16)
- You just forked out $75 for a measly 25 graduation announcements (let's be serious though, Mom and Dad forked out $75)
- You're beginning to realize that your time at college has almost come to an end
- You are starting to stress about the possibility of becoming a working woman (even if you still aren't really sure what you want to do)
- Every time that you drive away from campus you wonder what it will feel like when you drive away for the last time...

Spring Break Fun

This year for my spring break I got to spend 5 days and 4 nights in sunny warm Hilton Head thanks to Ben's girlfriend's family letting us borrow their condo (which was super nice)!!! It was so much fun to spend time with just the girls, for once! We spent the days laying out on the beach, and the nights eating out at our favorite restaurants and doing some shopping...we picked out surprises for everyone, and even Lucy came away with a cute new collar! Although the trip was A LOT of fun, I was excited to get home to Brad...we haven't spent a single night away from each other since we've been married. But seriously people, who ordered this cold rainy weather...it's awful!

Even though the weather is now terrible, there are still signs that spring is among us:
- I'm starting to get e-mails daily about graduation...YAY!
- My flip flops have been moved from the office closet back into my closet in the bedroom
- Soccer is on Brad's mind 24/7
- Mom is feeling the crunch to figure out where we're going to stay for vacation this summer
- I'm wanting to grill out
- I'm getting the itch to clean, plant flowers, and fix up the house...IT MUST BE SPRING!!!

And on another side note...

Charlotte Jane Dowdy is here!! Go check out her cute pictures

S*N*O*W*D*A*Y

Brad and I thoroughly enjoyed our snow day today by hanging out and getting things done around the house, then going to see Slumdog Millionaire with the Dowdy's and eating at Logan's YUMMY!!! Charley is ready to come out any day now and I for one can't wait to meet her!

Here are some pictures from the snow...and for the record Lucy LOVED the snow when Brad brought her back inside she was crying to go right back out. It was very cute to watch our little black child out there among all the stark white snow!

Here is our new TV console. I've been waiting a long time, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Our living room actually looks like a living room. And this TV was mine and Brad's Valentine's gift to each other and Brad loves it as much as I love its stand! And the dog is just an accessory :)

Princess Riley

About a month ago Mom and I decided it was time to turn Riley's room into a TRUE princess room. I do need to throw out the disclaimer that I was no where around when the paint color was being selected, I would've definitely talked Riley into a MUCH softer pink, but we made it work. I painted "princessey" (is that even a word people? of course it is!) things on the wall like "Once Upon a Time" and "Fairytales do come true", "Happily Ever After" and "Princess Riley". For a border I wrote things that have to do with princesses around the top of the room such is horse drawn carriage, prince charming, and things like that...Here are some pictures so you can see for yourself :)

Also...be expecting to hear about playing in the centimeter of snow we got today with Lucy and our NEW TV table it is BEEEEEAAAUTIFUL! Now get off of here and go enjoy this snow you know how long this stuff lasts around here...
