We're 75% sure...

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!
We have only started looking around a bedding, and won't buy any fabric until we go for our 20 week, but I have definitely been immersing myself in bows and all things monogrammed :) I can't wait to give Baby Girl a name and decorate her special room JUST for her!

This verse was in my devo this morning... "You created my inmost being, you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be." Psalm 139:13-16
How comforting to know that even before Baby C is born, God knows all of her days and everything she will grow to be.

And on a completely unrelated note...I think Lucy knows I'm pregnant. She follows me around the house ALL DAY. If I sit down she sits down right under me, and if I'm up doing things every time I turn around this is what I see...

We have...

BABY FURNITURE!!! Yay! We looked around Roanoke all day Sunday for just the right stuff. We really had no intentions of buying anything, but apparently you have to decide on nursery furniture like the DAY you get pregnant because it takes 20 or more weeks for furniture to come in if you order it. So, we found furniture that we absolutely LOVED at Burlington Coat Factory here in Roanoke, and the best part was that it was on clearance...BUT our Burlington didn't have any in stock and I'm not willing to wait 20 weeks because that is cutting it way to close! So...we're making a trip to Greensboro tomorrow to pick up the crib and dresser from the store there, and then we're going back to the Roanoke store to pick up the changing table combo. I'm super excited to get everything ready.

Now, all I need is to know if little Baby C is a girl or a boy...hopefully we will only have to wait until next Monday because one of our friends is a sonographer and she's going to see if she can tell what it is. Even if we don't find out what the baby is I'm just really excited to see that little guy or girl again. The last time we saw the baby it didn't even look like a baby, it resembled more of a bean than a human.

And one last thing...a picture for Kelly, so she can make her guess :)

What do you think are we having a boy or a girl?

Baby C

Today I am officially 13 weeks pregnant (only three more weeks until we can find out if the baby is a boy or a girl...hopefully!!), so here are the stats on Baby C at least according to the internet :)

He or she is about the size of this peach approx. 3 inches long and weighs about 0.8 ounces.
His or her eyes are fused shut to protect those cute little things from the placenta
He or she is beginning to kick and punch even though I won't be able to feel it for about another 3 or 4 weeks.
His or her fingerprints have formed.

Oh, Baby C I think about you all day everyday. I absolutely positively cannot wait to see if you will have my eyes or your daddy's, if you will have curly hair, straight hair, or maybe no hair at all (when you're first born that is). Will you be a girl or a boy? I cannot wait to give you a name and look at your tiny little feet, to give you kisses all over your tiny little cheeks, and to hold your little fingers and hands. We love you already!!

Already a good daddy...

For the record I am TOTALLY at school as I write this, and I am TOTALLY supposed to be teaching the children, but I am choosing to sit here and update y'all instead. Don't worry its only study hall...

These past two weeks off were AMAZING!!! Christmas was a blast, but the best part was just being able to spend time with Brad. We got a lot done around the house, and Brad was Mr. Handyman!! I mentioned the fact that it would be nice if we had closet organizers in the room that we're turning into the nursery, and two days later...DONE!! Yesterday, there was a funny smell that I commented on coming from the fridge, and by last night...GONE!! Seriously guys Brad has been AMAZING to me during this pregnancy. He seems to really understand how tired and yucky I have been feeling, and he has stepped up his game. I am such a lucky girl, and Baby C is going to be SUPER lucky to have a daddy as FABULOUS as Brad :)
